About Me
Hi, there! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Erica Gober and I am a Kentuckiana gal who loves the Lord, my family, and getting to be a counselor. When I am not helping others, I can often be found exercising, drinking coffee, chasing around my sweet little boy, or perusing my local library.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who they are. In a world full of pressure, comparison, and constant change, I offer biblically grounded therapy that integrates evidence-based clinical approaches. I help young people navigate identity, emotions, and major life transitions while deepening their understanding of who they are in Christ. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can explore hard questions, develop healthy coping skills, and grow in emotional resilience, all while being reminded that they are deeply known, seen, and loved by God.
My Approach
Evidence-Based Skills: Tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Faith Integration: Christian principles, Scripture, and prayer woven in meaningfully at the client’s comfort level.
Developmentally Appropriate Methods: Tailored strategies for children, teens, and young adults.
Family Support: Partnering with parents when working with children and teens to ensure lasting growth.
I look forward to getting to know you!
